OSCAR Sunday has arrived. The main event begins at 8:30PM ET after the Red Carpet countdown coverage, which began at 7PM ET.
It's no secret that the Academy Awards has been under intense "side-eye" scrutiny due to lack of people of color reflected in the nominations...yet again.
Quite frankly, it is inexcusable that Ryan Coogler (Creed Director), Michael B. Jordan (Creed) and Idris Elba (Beasts of No Nation) weren't nominated. Many are choosing not to attend or watch the Oscars this year, due to the continued and blatant disregard to Black, Latina and Asian excellence in film.
