Chris Brown's Girlfriend Karrachue Tran Disses Rihanna...Again!?

Photobucket

Is there a rivalry brewing between Rihanna and Chris Brown's current girlfriend Karrueche Tran over the affections of CBreezy??

Photobucket

Some seem to think so after a few days ago, [Feb. 24th] Rihanna tweeted a pic [NOT the one above] with the caption "U Mad? #No1Currrrrr?"

However the tweet appeared to maybe have been tweeted in response to fans who got out of pocket with Rihanna on twitter about her becoming "friends" again with Chris.

Well that was until Karrueche tweeted the following pics a day ago with captions and some say it was a direct response and diss at Rihanna. Karrueche tweeted:

"Yup... Get Mad."

Photobucket

Chris Brown tweeted the following pic with the caption: I don't know what the hell I'm doing! Hungry????
Photobucket

Chris pic seems like lighthearted fun. Karr's tweet seems to have a subliminal message for somebody.

This isn't the first time some have accused Karruche of dissing Rihanna. Back in October, this youtube video appeared with Karruche and friends. It prompted someone to put a "disclaimer" at the beginning of the video. But they ain't fooling nobody. Check it below:

*Now it's obvious they clownin Rihanna in this vid while playing her music in the background.

[Video] - Brandy And Monica Discuss Career & Kids + Video Throwback + Jay Leno "IABTM" Live Performance!

Photobucket

Brandy and Monica who currently have a new single out titled "It All Belongs To Me" recently spoke with People about their careers and interests their kids are having in wanting to possibly follow in their parents footsteps.

If you haven't done so, purchase the fab new single on iTunes now!

Via People:

A lot has happened in the 14 years since Brandy and Monica charmed the world with their Grammy-winning teen rivals hit “The Boy is Mine.” Now they’re back with a new duet – ”It All Belongs to Me” is out now — and are both mothers.

Brandy’s daughter Sy’rai, 9½ (dad is her ex, producer Robert Smith), has the talent to follow in Mom’s footsteps, but the singer isn’t ready to let her — yet.

“She’s into her school work and her education but singing is all she does, watching videos and making up routines,” Brandy, 33, tells PEOPLE. “I’m seeing the signs, but I want her to hold on a little longer and have a regular childhood.”

“Rodney is a drummer,” Monica, 31, explains of her eldest son (dad is her ex, rapper Rocko Hill). “He is only 6½ and is in the third grade. He wants to go to college like [my husband] Shannon and he’s serious about musical intent — he plays his drums daily and asks for lessons.

“He asked me, ‘Can you call Travis Barker and have him come give me drum lessons?’” says Monica, who recently ran into the Blink-182 drummer at an awards show and showed him a video of her son playing during his school talent show.

As for her youngest? “My 4-year-old [Romelo] is everything from an acrobat to a soccer player. He is a live wire! He’s sociable like me, a free spirit — all over the place!” she laughs.

And with both Brandy and Monica in loving, committed relationships (Brandy’s dating music publisher Ryan Press; Monica wed NBA star Brown in November 2010), they hope to become mothers again.

“Oh yes,” says Brandy. “Absolutely,” adds Monica, who hopes for “maybe two or three” kids with her husband.

Till then, both are planning play dates at Chuck E. Cheese, hoping to hit the road together this summer and relishing their renewed friendship.

“I just feel blessed,” notes Monica, whose album New Life is out April 10. “We had to get here as people first before we could do anything musically [again] and be the artists that we are, the mothers that we are.”

Brandy, who plans to release a new record this summer, sums it up: “We are ready to sing!”

For more on Brandy and Monica’s lives now and their last moments with their friend Whitney Houston, pick up the new issue of PEOPLE, on newsstands Friday.

in case you missed it, [it's posted on the blog in a previous post] Brandy and Monica performed their new single live on Jay Leno, it was emotional because it was a few days after Whitney's passing. Great performance.

In addition, when you are close like that, Dionne Warwick and Cissy Houston should have been notified prior to the service beginning, so the mishap at the service would not have happened. Sighs.

[Video] - Bill Maher Donates $1 Million To A Super PAC Supporting President Obama!

Additional deets:

Via Huffington Post:

Stephen Colbert may not support the idea of super PACs, but fellow political satirist Bill Maher is buying into the system -- literally.

During a performance of his comedy special "CrazyStupidPolitics" Thursday night, Maher announced a gift of $1 million to Priorities USA Action, an Obama-supporting super PAC. While he mocked the group's clunky name, saying it was "named by Borat," his publicist said that Maher was deadly serious about the donation and believed a second term for Obama was “worth a million dollars."

GOP Super PACs like Restore Our Future, which supports Mitt Romney, have allowed major donors to pump massive sums into the Republican presidential primary. President Obama was a long-time critic of the groups, but the threat of their fundraising power prompted a controversial change of heart earlier this month.

With presidential approval, Democratic super PACs are gearing up for the fall, but lag behind their Republican counterparts. In addition to Maher, other big names like Steven Spielberg have made sizeable donations to Priorities USA. Still, according to ABC, the group received only $59,000 in donations in January.

Priorities USA Action did not immediately respond to requests for comment from The Huffington Post.

[Video] As Expected, The Media Trips On Rihanna & Chris Brown + Chris Accused Of Snatching Cell Phone! [Sighs]

It's been said here for the longest that Chris Brown and Rihanna were throwing out signs little by little to the "public" that they were okay with one another, even wanting to attempt to get back together and knowing how the "media" was, they knew the ish that was going to come at them and so it begins. Mind you, they are not even back together "officially", they just released 2 remixes together. But y'all know they getting back together "officially" soon! LOL

Now all was going according to plan until the dumb ish came up about a theft of dayum cell phone. If this is accurate [according to the statement below], Chris must understand they will lock him back up over this ish to make a point. Chris has denied the accusation. This is just so messed up! Deets below:

video platformvideo managementvideo solutionsvideo player

Via MTV:

Chris Brown could be in hot water again if a Florida woman's claims that he stole her cell phone prove true.

According to an incident report, Brown is accused of "robbery by sudden snatching" at the Miami Beach nightclub Cameo early Sunday morning.

The alleged victim, Christal Spann, 24, told police that after spotting Brown and rapper Tyga leaving the club through a side door, she and her friends followed the artists onto the street. Brown got into a black Bentley as Spann took out her cell phone and snapped a photo of the singer while he sat in his car. "At this time [Spann] stated that [Brown] reached through his car window snatched her phone from her hands and said, 'Bitch you ain't going to put that on no website,' " the report says. He then allegedly took the iPhone 4S, rolled up his car window and drove off.

No arrests have been made and no warrants have been issued so far in the case, but TMZ reported that the incident is under investigation. According to E! Online, the Florida State Attorney's Office is preparing a warrant for Brown's arrest on suspicion of "robbery by sudden snatching."

Though the often tempestuous singer
got a positive probation report just days before his Grammy win and performances
in connection with his guilty plea to felony assault on former girlfriend Rihanna in 2009, he could be facing some legal troubles as a result of the Miami episode. On February 9, a Los Angeles judge ordered Brown to continue reporting to a probation officer
in his home state of Virginia as part of his five-year probation sentence in the Rihanna assault.

Because he still must obey all laws while on probation, TMZ reported that an arrest in the alleged Miami phone snatching could land him behind bars for a probation violation. The site claimed that the district attorney who prosecuted Brown in the Rihanna case is keeping an eye on things, and if the L.A. County Probation Department recommends that action should be taken, Brown could have his probation revoked and be sentenced to several years in prison.

A spokesperson for Brown could not be reached for comment at press time.

BOOKS: J.K. Rowling Releasing A New Novel For Adults!

Photobucket

Huge news in the publishing world! J.K. Rowling is set to publish a new novel. After the uber mega cray cray success of the "Harry Potter" books series [and film franchise], J.K. Rowling will be releasing a novel for adults. Deets below:

Via TV Guide:

Now that the Harry Potter era has ended, author J.K. Rowling is moving on to bigger and better things: She has written and is set to publish her first novel for an adult audience, Little, Brown and Company, the book's publisher, announced Thursday.

"Although I've enjoyed writing it every bit as much, my next book will be very different to the Harry Potter series," said Rowling in a statement. "The freedom to explore new territory is a gift that Harry's success has brought me, and with that new territory it seemed a logical progression to have a new publisher."

David Shelley, publisher of the Little Brown Book Group in the U.K., will serve as Rowling's editor on the book's U.K. version, and Michael Pietsch, executive vice president of Little, Brown and Company, will be responsible for publication in the United States.

Further details about the book, including its title, subject and release date, are said to be released later this year.

Update: Aretha Franklin Releases Statement About Her Absence From Whitney Houston's Funeral!

Photobucket

Aretha Franklin has released a statement after speculation as to why she didn't attend her God Daughter Whitney Houson's Home Going Service heats up in the media.

Fed up with the media's take on the situation. The Queen Of Soul released a statement:

Aretha Franklin's Official Statement:

“Unfortunately I had terrible leg spasms and locked leg muscles until 4 a.m. this morning following my concert last night, which I’ve been having for the last few days. I feel it necessary and very important to stay off my leg today as much as possible until concert time this evening.”

“Extra TV, the New York Post, and Newsday (New York) should stop the BS. Cissy Houston and I have been longtime friends for almost 50 years. I have four invitations and and parking passes that were sent to me for the funeral. Extra TV, the New York Post, and Newsday (New York) are more interested in sensationalism and negative speculations than the truth. People are getting their information from the wrong source.

The intelligent and the thoughtful thing to do would be to respect and have some sensitivity to the moment. If you don’t know how, at least try. Cissy does not need ridiculous speculation and neither do I — particularly at this time. Also, with respect to the Today Show my entire statement was pretaped.

However, the Today Show did not air the part of my statement which said, ‘This is no reflection on Cissy or Nippy’s upbringing.’ Knowing Cissy as well as I do, I know Whitney left home right and properly. I was generalizing and it was a well intended statement for any young adult coming into the music industry. I was not speaking of anyone specifically.”

Lord have mercy! Rest In Peace Whitney.

Congrats! Rachel Crow Inks New Nickelodeon TV Deal & Signs With Sony's Columbia Records!

Move via Vibe:

Rachel Crow, the 14-year-old who infamously broke down when she was voted off of The X Factor, has bounced back from the trauma and now it's safe to say that she's winning (no pun intended).

She scored a talent deal with Nickelodeon, which includes starring in her own musical comedy series pilot and she has been signed by Sony Music-owned Columbia Records in partnership with her X Factor coach Simon Cowell’s company, Syco.

“It’s been amazing,” Crow tells The Hollywood Reporter. “A couple days after the elimination I just found myself sitting home asking myself, ‘What am I going to do now?’ And I never would’ve thought that this is what I was going do now. So, it’s pretty amazing. I’m very thankful and I feel very blessed to have all this.”

Nickelodeon has also cast Crow in a recurring role on the network’s new comedy series, Fred: The Show, which stars Lucas Cruikshank. She is currently on-set playing the role of Starr, an eccentric girl who acts, sings and wants to be famous. She will appear in at least five episodes airing in the spring.

As stated on this blog numerous of times, it seemed inevitable that Kim and Reggie would get back together. Aside from the crazy marriage with Humphries, it was very obvious that Kim and Reggie were and are in love with one another.

They actually make a fabulous couple and perhaps if the rumors are true and they can work things out.

Janet Hubert Releases An Open Letter To Wendy Williams About Her Harsh Treatment Of Whitney Houston In The Media!

Photobucket

Wendy Williams just got read so correctly by none other than Janet Hubert. Janet was the original Aunt Viv on "Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air". While I think it's disgusting the way she is always trashing Will Smith, I am in complete agreement with her assessment and open letter she wrote to Wendy Williams about her harsh treatment and critique of Whitney Houston throughout the years.

Photobucket

The Open Letter Reads:

You said that morning with tears in your eyes, that you would not discuss Whitney any further, but you crucified her the whole time she was alive, as you do so many people on your show. I want to ask you why? What do you get out of this besides money?

How do you sleep at night knowing that you are one of the biggest bullies in the world disguised as HOT TOPICS? Celebrities are not topics we are people, just like everyone else, we hurt and we hear and we bleed real blood, not fake blood, just as you do.

How do we as parents teach our children to honor each other, treat each other with kindness when all they see are images of people like you who condone and promote meanness, rude reality TV stars, and your opinion as you berate world renowned people like Janet Jackson, Gwyneth Paltrow, and others you slam on a daily basis.

I keep asking myself why no one is saying anything about this. What the hell are they afraid of? Where are my sisters out there who feel as I do?

Well Wendy, I try to teach my son to stand up, shout, and scream when there is injustice. Yeah yeah, I know, I have been screaming for years and will continue to do so as long as there are images that depict black women as neck shaking, over bearing women who can’t get along.

A sister, a mother, a daughter, a star, left this world way too early; she was loved by the world. The world mourned, I don’t think that we needed you to try and take down another brilliant sister on that following Monday morning. (Your rude comments about Janet Jackson).

You started right back up without hesitation or pause… you need to stop Wendy. We need to stop, and the world needs to stop. I need to stop as well. There will be no more quotes from me to be misquoted. We need to join together, wrap our arms around our children, everybody’s children. Remember you have a child who will suffer every slingshot and arrow that gets thrown back at you Wendy; our public lives greatly affect our children.

I know I am going to suffer some arrows for writing this letter to you, I know you are loved by many, but remember this Wendy; they love you when you are up and they love to take you down. You will not always be up, you will not always be on the A list and attend all the parties. Ride the wave sister girl, but make sure you know how to swim when the ride is over. Artists are survivors, we work hard to build our crafts and careers and I ask that you simply remember that in the future.

I’m just sayin’ it like l mean it too.

'Over the past few days I've tried to process the emptiness that I am experiencing.

'What my heart feels cannot be expressed in words. The world lost an icon, but I lost my close friend. Nippy, I miss you so much!

'You were so happy and full of love. Your smile will live in my heart forever.'

Bless his heart. My prayers are also with Ray J, Brandy, and their parents. The Norwoods were very close friends with Whitney, so I know they are all still in grief. Keep them in your thoughts.

[Video] - MIRANDA LAMBERT USES CHRIS BROWN IN A VERY CRUEL & UNWARRANTED WAY TO INCREASE HER RECORD SALES AND GET PUBLICITY!! THAT'S PATHETIC!!!

SIDE NOTE: THIS SONG IS GREAT FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE VICTIMS WHO ARE CURRENTLY GOING THRU THIS TYPE OF HELL. HOWEVER RIHANNA IS NOT CURRENTLY GOING THRU THIS ORDEAL. IN ADDITION RIHANNA APPEARS TO HAVE FORGIVEN CHRIS BROWN. SO ANYBODY ELSE'S OPINION DOES NOT MATTER.

CHRIS BROWN IS NOT A REPEAT OFFENDER OF THIS AWFUL DISPLAY OF VIOLENCE. HE MADE A TERRIBLE MISTAKE WHEN HE WAS 19 AND HE HAS PAID HIS DEBT TO SOCIETY, COMPLETED DOMESTIC ABUSE COUNSELING, AND MORE. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

HE DOES NOT DESERVE TO BE CONSTANTLY HOUNDED BY PEOPLE ABOUT A ERROR IN JUDGEMENT HE MADE WHEN HE WAS 19, 3 YEARS AGO. LAY OFF OF HIM AND WORRY ABOUT YOUR LIFE.. DO YOU!!!

CAUSE FROM THE LOOKS OF THINGS.. MIRANDA LAMBERT NEEDS TO WORRY ABOUT WHY HER HUSBAND WALKED BY HER LIKE SHE WASN'T THERE, AS DID SHE ON THE GRAMMY RED CARPET. WORRY ABOUT YOUR ISH!!!

MIRANDA LAMBERT HAS SOME NERVE TO USE CHRIS BROWN'S NAME TO SENSATIONALIZE HER NAME FOR PUBLICITY AND INCREASE RECORD SALES.

I SINCERELY HOPE CHRIS BROWN'S LEGAL TEAM INVESTIGATES WHETHER THIS INCIDENT ON STAGE COULD BE CONSIDERED "COMMUNICATING A THREAT" OR "INCITING POSSIBLE VIOLENCE".

CHRIS BROWN NEEDS TO JUST KEEP DOING HIS THING! HE EARNED AND DESERVED HIS GRAMMY AND HAD EVERY RIGHT TO PERFORM ON THAT GRAMMY STAGE!!! KEEP YOUR HEAD UP CHRIS! WE GOT U!

LYRICS TO HER SONG "GUNPOWDER AND LEAD"

County road 233, under my feet
Nothin' on this white rock but little ole me
I've got two miles till, he makes bail
And if I'm right we're headed straight for hell

[Chorus:]

I'm goin' home, gonna load my shotgun
Wait by the door and light a cigarette
If he wants a fight well now he's got one
And he ain't seen me crazy yet
He slap my face and he shook me like a rag doll
Don't that sound like a real man
I'm going to show him what a little girls made of
Gunpowder and lead

It's half past ten, another six pack in
And I can feel the rumble like a cold black wind
He pulls in the drive, the gravel flies
He dont know what's waiting here this time

I'm goin' home, gonna load my shotgun
Wait by the door and light a cigarette
If he wants a fight well now he's got one
And he ain't seen me crazy yet
He slap my face and he shook me like a rag doll
Don't that sound like a real man
I'm going to show him what a little girls made of
Gunpowder and lead

His fist is big but my gun's bigger
He'll find out when I pull the trigger

I'm goin' home, gonna load my shotgun
Wait by the door and light a cigarette
If he wants a fight well now he's got one
And he ain't seen me crazy yet
He slap my face and he shook me like a rag doll
Don't that sound like a real man
I'm going to show him what a little girls made of
Gunpowder and lead

[Chris Brown and Miranda have gone back and forth on twitter... and I am very much on Chris Brown's side!!!!!]

Via The Boot:

"Chris Brown twice? I don't get it," Miranda tweeted the morning after the Grammys. "He beat on a girl ... Not cool that we act like that didn't happen. He needs to listen to Gunpowder and lead and be put back in his place. Not at the Grammys."

"Hate all you want becuz I got a grammy now! That's the ultimate f--- off," Chris tweeted that same day. (The tweet has since been removed.) Though it's not clear whether that was in direct response to Miranda, she probably took it as so. "For all who are asking ... I have a Grammy too," she tweeted back.

Miranda continued her tirade on Tuesday and Wednesday of last week, posting, "You've got to stand for something or you'll fall for anything," along with, "Be who u are and stand for what you believe in. NO MATTER WHAT!"

On Thursday, the reigning CMA Female Vocalist of the Year further shared her fury with a live audience, bashing Chris on stage during her show at the University of Massachusetts. Before launching into 'Gunpowder and Lead,' she held up a neon green poster that said, "Take notes Chris Brown."

"I've been in a world of hurt with Chris Brown fans lately," Miranda told her audience (quote via the New York Daily News). "But see, I just have to speak my mind because where I come from, beating up on a woman is never OK ... So that's why my daddy taught me early on in life how to use a shotgun."

Chris' response to this news from Massachusetts was filled with sarcasm: "Using my name to get publicity? I love it! Perform your heart out!" he tweeted, followed by his only direct mention of Miranda: "Go buy @miranda_lambert album! So motivational and 'PERFECT'!"

Chris then thanked his fans, along with another jab at Miranda and her supporters, posting, "Goodnight to all the people who live life and who aren't stuck in the past!"

- Whitney Houston's Home Going Service -

Photobucket

Such a wonderful and beautiful home going service for Whitney! The music, the personal memories, the awesome eulogy by Pastor Marvin Winans... everything about the service was beautiful and I know Whitney was present in that church before she took her final journey home.

Kim Burrell, R. Kelly, Donnie McClurkin, CeCe Winans, BeBe Winans, Carvin Winans, Alicia Keys, and Stevie Wonder gave emotionally touching performances.

Tyler Perry's memories about Whitney were powerful and touching.

Clive Davis, her industry father... gave such a precious account of his relationship, respect and career of Whitney.

Kevin Costner's touching tribute to Whitney Houston was so beautiful, respectful, filled with love and revealed a true connection.

I cried, laughed, praised and with my family we were honored the family allowed us and the world to be a part of the most perfect and private send off for Whitney's home going.

My thoughts and prayers remain and will stay with Cissy Houston, Bobbi Kristina and the Houston family.

Goodbye Whitney, we love you, will miss you but know you are in a glorious place right now.

Kim Burrell, R. Kelly, Donnie McClurkin, BeBe, CeCe, all the Winans and Stevie, had me in tears!!!

Sadly Bobby Brown did not stay for the service. It was later found out that Bobby came and he had his kids who are also close with Bobbi Kristina. He released a statement and explained why they left. So sad. Whitney would not have wanted the father of her child treated in this manner. I don't know who was responsible, he stated security, but he left so he would not create a scene. I feel so bad for Bobbi Kris' brothers and sister who were crying when they left.

Bobby Brown's statement:

“My children and I were invited to the funeral of my ex-wife Whitney Houston. We were seated by security and then subsequently asked to move on three separate occasions. I fail to understand why security treated my family this way and continue to ask us and no one else to move. Security then prevented me from attempting to see my daughter Bobbi-Kristina.

"In light of the events, I gave a kiss to the casket of my ex-wife and departed as I refused to create a scene. My children are completely distraught over the events. This was a day to honor Whitney. I doubt Whitney would have wanted this to occur. I will continue to pay my respects to my ex-wife the best way I know how.”

in addition, Aretha Franklin was unable to make it to her God Daughter's Home Going service due to being ill. Hope she gets well soon.

This is sooo not "new" news to me. Now y'all know it was coming as I have been reporting on this blog for 2 years that they were going to reunite at some point. However it has just been the last six months or so that more media were picking up on the blaring signs. [Check the archives]

- Update: Whitney Houston's Funeral Will Be Televised, Kevin Costner Will Speak, Stevie Wonder & Aretha Franklin Will Sing -

Photobucket

Whitney Houston's funeral will be televised Saturday. Marvin L. Winans will give the eulogy. Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder are going to sing. It's also being reported that Kevin Costner will speak at Whitney Houston's funeral Saturday. Additional details of the funeral:

Update: CNN will televise Whitney's funeral. Coverage begins Saturday at 11AM Est. [R.I.P Whitney!]

Via CNN:

Actor Kevin Costner, who starred with Whitney Houston in the 1992 hit movie "The Bodyguard," will speak at her funeral on Saturday, according to a source with knowledge of the funeral plans.

The ceremony will also feature performances by Stevie Wonder and Aretha Franklin, who is Houston's godmother, the source said Thursday.

Houston's ex-husband, Bobby Brown, plans to attend as well, according to a source close to Brown, and then perform with his group New Edition that evening. Brown considers performing as therapy to get him through a difficult time, the source said.

Brown was openly emotional at a show in Mississippi on Saturday night following news of Houston's death, then pulled out of a performance in Nashville on Sunday night and flew to Los Angeles.

Brown will rejoin New Edition Thursday night for a performance in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, according to a New Edition publicist.

At the New Hope Baptist Church, the Newark, New Jersey, house of worship where Houston sang as a child, preparations were under way for the private, invitation-only event.

Houston's funeral will be broadcast Saturday:

On Thursday at the church, metal barricades were being erected around a tribute area in front, where fans left balloons, candles and photographs of the singer.

Inside, funeral directors met with members of the Newark police, who will provide security for the event, said police Sgt. Ronald Glover.

But Samuel DiMaio, Newark police director, told reporters Thursday his advice to fans and curious members of the public was to stay home and watch the ceremony on television, as they will not be able to get close to the church.

The service is expected to be made available for television and web streaming, Houston's publicist said.

A perimeter will be set up for four blocks in two directions, and two blocks in the other directions, DiMaio said. The closest the public will be able to get is a staging area two blocks away.

Because of the police perimeter, a large screen will not be erected outside the church for the public to view the service. The church had said earlier it hoped such a screen could be in place.

Authorities have no security concerns, DiMaio said, but the priority is protecting the privacy and safety of the family and invited guests.

New Hope Pastor Joe Carter said Thursday the service will be personal and dignified.

Asked how Houston's family is doing, Carter said, "They're holding strong."

Meanwhile, a steady stream of people drove by the church Thursday, some slowing down to snap pictures and others getting out of their cars to pose in front of the memorials.

Some fans said they are disappointed the family is not holding a public memorial for Houston, but others said they understood the family's wishes.

Houston, 48, was found dead in the bathtub of her suite at the Beverly Hilton on Saturday, hours before she was to attend a pre-Grammys bash at the Beverly Hills, California, hotel.

Houston's death certificate, filed Wednesday, listed her cause of death as "deferred," meaning a determination is delayed pending more information. Speculation has grown while authorities await the outcome of toxicology tests that could take weeks.

The anti-anxiety medication Xanax was among prescription drugs found in the room, the source said Thursday. Houston's family members and staff confirmed she used the medication, the source said, but investigators don't know whether she took it the day she died. No Valium or other drugs classified as benzodiazepines, or sedatives, were found in the room, according to the source.

Houston also had a prescription for the antibiotic amoxicillin, the source said, but "if taken as prescribed, it's not going to kill you."

When paramedics arrived in Houston's hotel suite, she was in the hotel room, not in the bathroom, the source said. "She was lying on the floor, wet, on her back" and had already been removed from the bathtub, according to the source.

"No one official ever saw her in the bathtub or the bathroom," the source said. "The assistant and a bodyguard reported to emergency personnel that Houston was removed from the tub."

Ed Winter, assistant chief coroner at the Los Angeles County Coroner's office, said earlier that while prescription medication was found in Houston's room, the amount was less than that usually present in overdose deaths.

Saturday, the day she died, Houston was seen drinking at the pool in the morning, although the source noted witnesses said her behavior did not appear erratic.

A singer who participated in an impromptu duet with Houston at a party Thursday night said Houston was not behaving erratically, but did have champagne.

"I didn't see someone who was high," Kelly Price told CNN's "Starting Point" on Monday. During the party, Houston took the stage unexpectedly and sang a hoarse rendition of "Jesus Loves Me" with Price.

The coroner's office has issued subpoenas seeking Houston's medical records and her prescriptions, Winter said Wednesday. Investigators are also contacting pharmacies where the prescriptions were filled, he said.

"I know there are reports that she maybe was drowned or did she overdose, but we won't make a final determination until all the tests are in," Winter said earlier. He ruled out foul play and said there were no injuries to Houston's body.

The prescriptions found in the room were in Houston's name, Winter told Lemon. By contacting the doctors, investigators are attempting to verify the prescriptions and find out if there were any more.

Several doctors have been contacted in California and other states, along with pharmacies, he said. All were cooperating.

"Everything is above board," Winter said. "So far, nothing looks criminal."

Houston visited a Beverly Hills ear, nose and throat specialist four days before she died, a source familiar with her visit said Wednesday.

Dr. Shawn Nasseri had treated Houston for throat and vocal problems for several years, said the source, who asked not to be identified because they are not authorized to speak publicly about it.

A close family friend told CNN Tuesday that Houston had not used "hard drugs" for several years, although she was taking medication for a throat infection and Xanax or a similar drug for anxiety and to help her sleep. The friend said Houston was also known to have a drink if she went out.

Gospel singer and pastor Marvin L. Winans will give the eulogy at the funeral at the request of Houston's mother, said New Hope Pastor Joe Carter.

Winans officiated Houston's 1992 marriage to R&B singer Bobby Brown, said Carter. The two divorced in 2007.

Asked why no public memorial service was planned, Winans told CNN's Anderson Cooper on Wednesday night the family didn't "want to have a parade."

"I don't think, knowing Cissy (Houston's mother) and the Houston family ... it was a matter of public or private as it was, 'This is my daughter, this is my sister, this is my mother, this is my friend and we want to do this with dignity.'"

Rest In Peace Whitney.

[Video] - Jennifer Holliday Crawls Out The Woodwork To Speak About Whitney! [Shady!!!]

Side Note:

I agree that people need to stop being so evil and hard on Bobby Brown. He is mourning Whitney's death as well. He is Bobbi Kris' father and Whitney would want her daughter to be taken care of and not have the father of her child demonized.

Btw... Jennifer threw shade all over Whitney after Whitney SANG a song Jennifer made famous while doing a Broadway play. Whitney SANG the same song on the AMA's, [I just posted that performance this week on the blog] and she sang the hell out that song! She sang it better than Jennifer ever could. Jennifer was pissed that Whitney sang the song. Like she owned it or something. NOW she wanna open her crooked mouth and speak?

She even had smartass comments about the film "Dreamgirls" and Jennifer Hudson's portrayal of the character Jennifer Hudson won her Oscar from in the hit film "Dreamgirls". Jennifer Holliday played the character in the hit broadway play way back in the day.

Jennifer Holliday is just a evil and jealous person. Until she shows otherwise IMO.

I am attempting to show respect to Jennifer Holliday. She is a powerhouse singer, but she's no Whitney Houston. Sowwy.

People really need to stop saying they have Jesus in they life. God don't like ugly. Whitney is gone. Just let her have peace. Whitney's daughter Bobbi and her family don't need to see Jennifer's mug on the screen saying what they already know.

Kevin Costner speaks about choosing Whitney to star in "The Bodyguard" [2009]

Kevin Costner reportedly sent flowers to Bobbi Kristina, but has chosen not to speak out publicly about the passing of Whitney. A class act. Bless his heart. Details below:

Via Ca OMG:

Kevin Costner is remaining guarded about his feelings over Whitney Houston's death.

The 57-year-old actor is arguably responsible for turning Houston into a Hollywood heavyweight when he hand-picked her to play opposite him in the 1993 film "The Bodyguard."

However, Costner so far has not made any public comments about the late singer, who died this weekend at the age of 48.

Though his manager told omg! Canada in an email that Costner "holds Whitney in very high esteem," the actor has decided not to issue a public statement about Houston's passing in order to keep his relationship with her private.

Costner reportedly sent a floral arrangement to Bobbi Kristina in the hours after her mother's death. While he has remained mum in public, the actor's strong feelings about Houston are obvious after a glimpse at archival interviews with the actor. In 1993, the year "The Bodyguard" premiered, Costner spoke to "Entertainment Tonight" about choosing to cast Houston as the pop singer his ex-Secret Service alter ego is hired to protect.

"She's a world-class woman," he said at the time. "We've seen Streisand and we've seen Diana Ross, and Whitney is in that [category]. It's undeniable -- we can't describe it, but we all know it when we see it. And I felt that when I saw Whitney."
In the same interview segment, Houston said she agreed to take the role of Rachel Marron after turning down various other films because Costner made her feel "comfortable."

"He said, 'Whatever you need, we will supply for you,'" Houston said.
In 2009, Costner told ABC that he persuaded Warner Bros. to wait a year for Houston when she couldn't commit to "The Bodyguard" right away.

[Video] 2.13.12 - Wendy Williams Shares Her Thoughts On Whitney Houston's Passing! + The Infamous 2003 Radio Interview Between Wendy and Whitney!

Side Note: I just could not post this yesterday after watching it because this post would not have been able to stay up from all the venom that would have been put in my words in reference to Ms. Wendy Williams.

I'm happy that I took a day before posting my thoughts on this bullshit.

First let me say Whitney Houston was my favorite favorite recording artist of all time, period. Mariah Carey is a close second. [Michael Jackson was my favorite Entertainer of all time.]

However I could list a plethora of my "fave" artists and the list would never end. I luv music... good music. But as I stated, Whitney Houston was my favorite, as I've stated on this blog many times, no one could touch classic Whitney vocally.

With that being said. I was devastated when news hit of Whitney's death. Had never met her in person, but I felt the loss. The tears that flowed from my eyes the evening I turned to CNN to confirm what I was reading on twitter were real, something Wendy Williams would know NOTHING ABOUT.

I cannot begin to express the disgust.... [Pause]

Let me start again.... The video above had some emotion in it. That is true. However not for one minute will I ever believe Wendy shed tears over the death of Whitney. No.. never that.

Wendy was somewhat emotional...... because of GUILT.

She was remembering all the times she spoke ill of Whitney, the times she gave the side eye looks in the camera while trashing Whitney, the times she sarcastically waved "fans" in the audience begging Whitney to appear on her show after she continued to talk out the side of her mouth about Whitney... the times she spoke about Whitney on her show and while doing so, ALWAYS POSTED THE MOST UNFLATTERING PICTURES OF WHITNEY ON THE MONITOR [THAT IS UNTIL YESTERDAY!], she's remembering the way she looked when Simon Cowell appeared on her show and he spoke so wonderfully about Whitney, she's thinking about how she implored her audience for someone to send her the ENTIRE "Being Bobby Brown" reality show series so she could watch it then gleefully thanked someone who did send it to her and just last week she mocked Whitney by using some of what she picked up from watching the reality show when speaking about why Simon should NOT choose Whitney as a mentor for his show "The X Factor". Yep... just last week. A few days later, Whitney was dead.

Guilt. Guilt is what Wendy is consumed with right now. Guilt is what made Wendy state on her show yesterday that she WOULD NOT BE TALKING ABOUT THE DEATH OF WHITNEY ON HER SHOW AGAIN. GUILT.. BECAUSE SHE NEVER SAID A GOOD THING ABOUT WHITNEY, NEVER SHARED GOOD NEWS ABOUT WHITNEY, ONLY THE BAD. GUILT.

KARMA is another thing that's floating out there right now. Karma never forgets a wrong that was done and Wendy did all kind of wrongs on Whitney. Karma is a BITCH and when it finds Wendy, she will hear an audible knock and then the words "HOW YOU DOIN!!!!???????

And she should forever feel guilt for the radio interview with Whitney, but Whitney read Wendy's ass good for the foul ish she was bringing up in the interview.

If you never heard the infamous interview between Wendy and Whitney, this is it below.

Mariah Carey Postpones Her Appearance On "Good Morning America", Grieving Her Friend Whitney!

Mariah Carey has postponed a scheduled appearance on "Good Morning America". She is still grieving the loss of her friend Whitney. Details below:

"Mariah's appearance on Good Morning America, originally due to air live tomorrow, has been postponed. Mariah was scheduled to discuss the association between herself, Jenny Craig and the American Heart Association, and debut her new Public Service Announcement which she co-directed with Daniel Pearl.

A rep for Carey said: "Mariah is still mourning the death of her friend and collaborator Whitney Houston and thought it was too soon to appear on TV to discuss anything else."

Mariah's 1998 collaboration with Whitney Houston, "When You Believe", won an Academy Award for "Best Song" in 1999. Soon after she heard the tragic news of Whitney's passing, Mariah released a statement saying:

"Heartbroken and in tears over the shocking death of my friend, the incomparable Ms. Whitney Houston. My heartfelt condolences to Whitney's family and to all her millions of fans throughout the world. She will never be forgotten as one of the greatest voices to ever grace the earth."

Side Note: Celine Dion.. take notes. This is how a REAL friend or just a compassionate person reacts to a devastating situation. They show compassion. They don't call in to a national news show and act holier than thou and do nothing but be judgemental and condescending throughout the interview. Mariah Carey has class, again Celine.. take note.

Rest In Peace Whitney.
