It's almost movie time!

I simply can't wait to watch the miniseries The New Edition Story  which premieres tonight. New Edition remains one of my favorite groups of all time.

The highly anticipated 3-night event starts tonight. I will be watching and recording.

The casting is stellar and I am quite sure they'll make the members of  New Edition proud.

The cast includes Bryshere Y. Gray, Luke James, Algee Smith, Woody McClain, Keith Powers and Elijah Kelley.

Congrats to New Edition!

The march garnered support from other cities in the U.S. and around the world. Massive crowds turned out...united in peaceful protest against Trump's treatment of women and minorities...and the backward policies he wants to implement.

We will not be silent.

I knew this day was coming. But it is still going to be a rough one, both symbolically and in actuality. However just as President Obama has assured us many times before, we are going to be alright. We as Americans are always going to be alright.

Thank you for your phenomenal leadership. Thank you for everything you've done for our country. You will be missed. The entire Obama family will be missed. Yet...I am excited to see what your next chapter will be...

Remembering Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

 photo 0F78CCE8-DA3D-49EE-9EAE-BFF7C7F722C3_zpsi6fxj3l5.jpeg

Remembering a man who led the civil rights movement in the direction of success and triumph. Dr. King will always be remembered for the legacy he left behind and we will never forget the struggle and the ultimate sacrifice that he suffered by standing up for his beliefs and never faltering, even when threatened with harm. His dream has been realized. The racial melting pot of the world would surely put a smile on his face. To this day, racism is prevalent ...the struggle continues. But with the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the fight will go on until the battle is completely won. Rest in peace Dr. King. We love, respect and honor your legacy.

Congressman John Lewis Speaks Truth, Trump Tweets [Video]

Rep. John Lewis is a civil rights leader, icon and hero. He recently spoke truth about whether or not Donald Trump's Presidency is legitimate. Of course Trump responded...on Twitter. In doing so, disrespected a civil rights legend. And did so just days before the Dr. Martin Luther King holiday. He literally has some nerve.

When will Trump sign off of Twitter and begin to prepare for the task of running the damn country!?

[Video] - Steve Harvey Meets With Trump, D.L. Hughley's Reaction

I can't.

D.L. Hughley reaction to the Harvey - Trump meeting.

Side Note: Trump has not shown one authentic moment of trying to unite this country. But beyond that, I don't have memory loss. I remember quite well everything Trump has spewed...and continues to spew.

Trump disrespected President Obama for eight years. So you know what? I will show Trump the same respect he showed President Obama and the First Family.
