Sunday's BET Award's show was transformed in 3 days to become a "Tribute" to Michael Jackson. Celebs and Fans alike were shocked at the sudden death of the legend Michael Jackson. So it was wonderful to see his life celebrated by the folks who have always loved and RESPECTED Micheal Jackson.

Micheal Jackson's Dad Joseph Jackson walked the red carpet and sat in the audience during the broadcast.

Host Jamie Foxx did a fantastic job. The emotional moment happened at the end of the show when sister Janet Jackson surprised everyone by coming to the stage to say a few words on behalf of her family....Very touching moment and the tears fell again (from me)....Jamie Foxx and Ne-yo (who also did an amazing job) closed the night out with the song "I'll Be There". Michael Jackson was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Los Angeles … He suffered cardiac arrest and the paramedics administered CPR in the ambulance. The 911 call came in at 12:21PM to his Holmby Hills home in L.A.

Former vice president of the Southern Baptist Convention Reverend Wiley Drake recently told Fox news in an interview earlier this month that was was engaging in "imprecatory prayer" or calling for a divine curse that would cause the president to die, reports the Associated Press.

“If he does not turn to God and does not turn his life around, I am asking God to enforce imprecatory prayers that are throughout the Scripture that would cause him death,” Drake told Fox’s Alan Colmes.

The Southern Baptist Convention was established in 1845 so slaveholders could continue to serve at missionaries. The church leaders and members were supporters of the South during the Civil War, in addition to supporting racial segregation during the Civil Rights Movement. The convention is also known for their resentment towards affirmative action and bussing measures to promote racial balance in schools. Republican Party candidate also shop for votes among the church members.
