No testimony needed...at the last minute..Chris Brown cops a plea deal!
Chris Brown has accepted a plea deal in his assault case. Chris will spend 180 days of community labor in Virginia. He will also get 5 years probation for felony assault as well as supervised probation. He must enroll in a domestic violence program.
In exchange, he pleaded guilty to felony assault by means likely to cause great bodily injury.
"Mr. Brown, I think it's commendable that you took responsibility for your conduct," said Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg.
Brown also was ordered to stay at least 50 yards away from Rihanna – except at industry events, when it's 10 yards – despite a request from Rihanna's lawyer that the pair be allowed in the same place at the same time.
Rihanna was in attendance. ( A sketch has been released) She only entered the court room after Chris left. Chris Brown is now a convicted felon–meaning it’s on his permanent record and he cannot vote or carry a concealed weapon.
