It seemed to be the case after photogs caught shots of Halle Berry accessorized with a certain piece of jewelry on a very specific finger.
So, what's the deal?
We know the saying, "third time's a charm," and clearly there are plenty of Hollywood couples who have proven this to be true when it comes to marriage, but in Halle's case...we can't be too sure.
Both of the lovebirds' reps were contacted by E! News and had either no comment or no information to give us.
So, are they playing it coy or is that just a random piece of jewelry that she decided to place on her ring finger (knowing we'd totally get excited)? Either way, the duo have surpassed Millionaire Matchmaker Patti Stanger's expectations, so that's good!
Side Note: Well the ring is definitely on the ring finger. However Halle Berry was adamant after her difficult breakup and divorce from Eric Benet, that she would never ever get married again, and revealed this info on the Oprah show. At the time Oprah told her to never say never. So at this time, it is purely speculation and Halle Berry nor Olivier have announced an engagement.

The 45-year-old actress and Olivier Martinez are engaged, a source confirms to the new Us Weekly, on stands Friday.
Over the holidays, Martinez, 46, proposed with an emerald-and-diamond ring from Gurhan.
Berry, who has a 3-year-old daughter, Nahla, with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry, has been married twice before. (She dated model Aubry, 36, for nearly five years before splitting in April 2010.) She wed former baseball player David Justice in 1993 and divorced four years later. She then married R&B singer Eric Benet in 2001, only to separate in 2003 and finalize their divorce in 2005.
She first met French actor Martinez while working on the film Dark Tide; they stepped out as a couple in fall 2010. He previously dated Australian pop star Kylie Minogue for several years before splitting in 2007.

Even though Martinez' ex-girlfriend Kylie Minogue tweeted to congratulate her ex, sources say the bling spotted spotted on Halle's finger is not an engagement ring.
According to TMZ's sources, Martinez did give the actress the emerald and diamond ring as a gift, but it "positively is not a symbol of getting engaged."
The couple are in a "committed relationship" and marriage "could be in the cards," but there are no plans to get married at this time.
Couldn't he have just gotten her earrings? It would have saved everyone a whole lot of trouble and we wouldn't have to be playing the guessing game. Reps for Berry declined to comment when asked about the engagement, but reps for the the jeweler who made the ring had confirmed the pair were indeed engaged.
Berry has been divorced twice and has a three-year-old daughter, named Nahla, with her ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry. She met Martinez in 2010, when they worked as co-stars on the film "Dark Tide," which is set to be released later this year.
