Award season is in full swing. Right off the heels of "Golden Globe Awards", it's that time for the Academy Award nominations to be announced this morning. Will post list when the nominations are announced. Good luck to all!
The 84th Academy Awards will air on 2.26.12, coverage starting at 7PM EST.
The Nominations:
Best actress: Glenn Close, Viola Davis, Rooney Mara, Meryl Streep and Michelle Williams
Best actor: George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Jean Dujardin, Demian Bichir, and Gary Oldman
Best supporting actress: Berenice Bejo, Jessica Chastain, Melissa McCarthy, Janet McTeer, Octavia Spencer
Best supporting actor: Kenneth Branagh, Jonah Hill, Nick Nolte, Christopher Plummer, Max Von Sydow
Best picture: "The Artist,” “The Descendants,” “The Help,” “Moneyball,” “Hugo,” “War Horse,” “Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close,” “The Tree of Life” and “Midnight in Paris"
Best director: Michael Hazanavicius, Alexander Payne, Martin Scorsese, Woody Allen, and Terrence Malick
Best foreign language film: "Bullhead," "Footnote," "In Darkness," "Monsieur Lazhar," and "A Separation.
