[Video] - Jennifer Hudson Pays Tribute To Whitney Houston During The 2012 Grammy Awards!

Jennifer Hudson gave a outstanding rendition of "I Will Always Love You" in honor, in tribute to the one and only Whitney Houston during last night's 2012 Grammy Awards.

Side Note: Congrats to Adele who swept the Grammys with 6 wins. Very deserving and she gave an amazing performance. Also congrats to Chris Brown, Rihanna and all other winners from last night.

The Best New Artist award should have gone to J. Cole. Period.

I don't want to have negative speak on this post, I will just say The Grammy Awards on a whole were boring and completely disrespectful for only allowing 3 minutes for the Whitney Houston tribute. [LL Cool J who hosted the show, gave a very touching prayer at the beginning of the show.]

Understandable it was an unplanned segment prior to Saturday, but for the media to report Saturday evening through Sunday that the Grammy Awards were going to do a tribute to Whitney Houston and Jennifer Hudson and Chaka Khan would perform.

One would at least expect when Chaka Khan felt that it was inappropriate for her to perform because her friend had just passed, which was also understandable, the producers would get someone else to pay tribute to Whitney. They failed to do that.

Nothing was done different during that telecast. Right after the annual "In Memory" segment of the show, where by the way they left off Vesta Williams and others, they then had Jennifer Hudson sing some of "I Will Always Love You".

No video package was done showing Whitney's accomplishments to music. No words from colleagues, Nothing.

Whitney Houston's name, legacy and tragic untimely death was used to score ratings gold.

But to add insult to injury, Nicki Minaj closed the show with one of the most pathetic and desperate attention seeking performances ever, and for THAT to be done a day after the death of an icon on the GRAMMY stage is sick as hell! That is all.
