Special Edition: One Tragic and Hellish Week in America

The events that have unfolded this week in our country have been unbelievable yet;  unfortunately nothing new. Two Black men were literally executed by officers...both incidents were caught on video.

Alton Sterling was thrown to the ground by two officers and while on the ground, shot multiple times at point blank range.

A day later, Philando Castile was shot multiple times during a routine traffic stop. Castile's girlfriend and daughter were in the car with him. The officer shot in the car with a child in the backseat. The trigger happy officer was negligent and used deadly force when it wasn't warranted. Castile's girlfriend started recording the events, streaming the horrifying incident live on Facebook.

Any decent human-being regardless of race should be outraged at the murders of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile. There should also be anger at the senseless shooting in Dallas that resulted in the murders of five police officers. Many were wounded as well. Violence is NEVER the answer.

This madness must stop!

Even with all that has been shown, there are folks who want to blame the President and Black Lives Matter activists for the tragic Dallas shooting. What in the hell!? It literally boggles the mind that there is a certain population in America that honestly believe this.

Anyone with common sense knows that calling out the wrongs of officers that do not comply with policy and procedure is not an indictment on the entire police force. It shines the light on folks who need to be held accountable for their actions. Being a police officer does not give you the right to get away with cold-blooded murder. You can't hide behind a badge. The justice system isn't there to protect officers who make the decision to commit murders. It is not in a police officer's job description to be judge, jury or God.

This does not mean that every police officer is being condemned. Police officers put their lives on the line to protect citizens everyday. They've taken oaths to protect communities and the residents in that community. However, there are a few bad apples in the bunch and IT IS IMPERATIVE that folks know the difference.

DO NOT BLAME our President, the Black Lives Matter movement or liberals for the bad apples that CHOOSE TO EXECUTE BLACK MEN AND WOMEN WHILE ON DUTY...USING ANY EXCUSE TO TAKE A LIFE.

The blame is with the person that chooses to unload their gun and use deadly force when it is not protocol to do so. That is called MURDER. UNDERSTAND THIS...our country is in mourning. We mourn the five officers that were murdered by Micah Xavier Johnson, just as we mourn the executions of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile.

Condolences and prayers to all of the families.

Side Note: Ex-politician, Joe Walsh tweeted and deleted a message threatening the President and Black Lives Matter activists. I don't understand why his ignorant racist ass hasn't been arrested.

Video: Don Lemon attempts to explain things to Joe Walsh's simple imbecilic ass. Of course, it goes in one ear and out the other.

Pray for our country, because the racist crazies are on the loose.

The fact that this all comes on the heels of Jesse Williams' extraordinary speech on race at the BET awards, while accepting his Humanitarian Award, shows that many people STILL don't get it.

Jesse Williams broke it all the way down, but some folks are steady sleeping.
