With summer comes a little more time available to enjoy even more great reads. In my case, I'm also giddy at the prospect of finally being able to dive in on my TBR pile and unearthing the stories that I simply could not wait to read any longer.

The book of the month selection for June is one of those gems that was ranked high on my TBR list. Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire is the first book in this bestselling new adult trilogy. The Beautiful Disaster series centers around the dynamic and interesting interaction between Abby Abernathy and the quintessential hard to resist bad boy, Travis Maddox, after a not so innocent bet.

What is destined for these two seemingly complete opposites? Will both get more than they bargained for in the end?  I can't wait to find out.

Grab the first book in the Beautiful Disaster series and begin devouring the pages to find out what millions of readers are talking about.

As always...happy reading!

Synopsis:

A New York Times and USA TODAY bestseller about a good girl dangerously drawn to the ultimate bad boy.

The new Abby Abernathy is a good girl. She doesn’t drink or swear, and she has the appropriate number of cardigans in her wardrobe. Abby believes she has enough distance from the darkness of her past, but when she arrives at college with her best friend, her path to a new beginning is quickly challenged by Eastern University’s Walking One-Night Stand. Travis Maddox, lean, cut, and covered in tattoos, is exactly what Abby wants—and needs—to avoid. He spends his nights winning money in a floating fight ring, and his days as the ultimate college campus charmer.

Intrigued by Abby’s resistance to his appeal, Travis tricks her into his daily life with a simple bet. If he loses, he must remain abstinent for a month. If Abby loses, she must live in Travis’s apartment for the same amount of time. Either way, Travis has no idea that he has met his match.
