Adele burst back on the music scene in October with the stellar single "Hello", which became an instant fave. The single became the newest breakup/makeup anthem of the year. The powerful ballad was an instant hit...literally. "Hello" is the first single to ever sell a million downloads in one week. Adele's "Hello" sold 1.11 million downloads during its initial release. Of course the success didn't stop there. Adele's "Hello" video broke Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" video record, for the most video views in a 24 hour period on Vevo. On Youtube, "Hello" garnered over 100 million views in five days. Needless to say the album was going to be monstrous.

Adele's highly anticipated new album "25" released on November 20 and went on to break N'Sync's "No Strings Attached" record of 2.42 million copies sold, by selling 3.38 million copies of "25" in one week. If you don't have the amazing album, do yourself a favor a purchase it now.
