To mark the 20th anniversary of the historic Million Man March held in Washington, D.C. Minister Louis Farrakhan, who folks either abhor, embrace or remain neutral about, spearheaded the call for justice rally back in October 1995. Whatever ones feelings are toward Farrakhan, he was able to draw a million plus to Washimgton, who understood there needed to be a spark to wake folks up on the injustices happening in the community. Well, here we are twenty years later and sadly...things have gotten worse. The blatant killings of young unarmed black men by law enforcement has become an epidemic. People of color are dying in police custody without direct explanations for what happened.

The march on Saturday was called the Justice or Else March aka Million Man March 2015. The march drew huge crowds onto the National Mall once again. Surprisingly...BlankStare...mainstream media did not carry live coverage of the historic march.
Farrakhan focused on various topics including politics.

The media missed a valuable opportunity to show the positivity from a community that continues to get bashed, brutalized and disrespected on a daily basis by the very people sworn to protect and by folks in elected positions using power to yield modern day Jim Crow laws.

The 2016 election will be upon us before we know it. Regardless of your race, culture or political affiliation. Be ready to cast your vote and help mend this country. Extreme conservatism is destroying and dividing.

Stay woke and report that.
