With reports continuing to flow that Kimora Lee and Djimon have split, reportedly over financial issues. Another reason has now been thrown in the pot.
Controversial author Kola Boof has stated she broke up Kimora and Djimon. If you remember, months ago [check archives] Kola Boof started tweeting up a storm about having an affair with Djimon. Her tweets included some direct tweets aimed at Kimora.
Kimora and Djimon never addressed her claims publicly.
Well now Kola Boof is back in the center of the Kimora & Djimon relationship drama. Additional deets below:

Did Kimora Lee Simmons lose Djimon Hounsou because of a beef with Kola Boof?
The Sudanese-Egyptian author and poet who claims that she was once Osama Bin Laden’s mistress, says she broke up the Glamazon and the “Gladiator” actor’s relationship as “revenge” for Simmons’ cruel treatment of her.
On Tuesday, we reported that Simmons, 37, and Hounsou, 48, had split after a source close to the couple said they’d had “a big fight over money.”
The story took another turn on Thursday when a source suggested that we contact Boof to ask if she’d played a role in the split. Boof’s response:
“I am the reason that they broke up.” The author of “Diary of a Lost Girl: The Autobiography of Kola Boof” — in which she chronicled her in Laden connection — told us via email: “I have slept with Djimon Hounsou throughout his marriage to Kimora Lee Simmons,” adding: “I don’t think it’s a secret to people in Los Angeles.”
(Simmons and Hounsou, who have a 3-year-old son Kenzo , reportedly are not legally married.)
Boof was clear-cut about her reasons for the alleged affair. “I am not in love with Djimon Hounsou & he is not in love with me,” she wrote. “The only reason I had sex with him was to get revenge on Kimora.”
Boof wrote that her beef with Simmons stems from something that happened while she was being treated for “brain cancer” at the Loma Linda Cancer Center in 2008.
“Kimora nearly destroyed my life and my children’s lives,” the author claimed. “She is a lecherous, two-faced, money-obsessed witch and a delusional snob.” Boof declined to reveal exactly what Simmons allegedly did to spark her fury.” “It’s just too much,” she wrote.
Boof had kinder words for Hounsou, who hails from Benin, West Africa. “Djimon is a great human being. He’s just lost in a culture he doesn’t understand,” she wrote. She also pronounced the “Amistad” actor a “sexual athlete,” who inspired a character in her most recent novel, “The Sexy Part of the Bible.” “Seahorse, the male lead character, is based on Djimon and our personal sex life [over] the last 4 years.”
A look at Boof’s Twitter feed reveals that she tweeted about her affair with Hounsou in January and February.
“I f—ed her husband more than she did,” she tweeted on Jan. 28.
Boof explained that her affair with the actor started “because I had just lost my husband. We were lonely and intended to have sex only once, but then we had chemistry and became addicted.” Boof also indicated, however, that she’d kicked her Hounsou habit. “Now that they are ‘separated' (and trying to hide that fact), I have no interest in sleeping with him further,” she wrote.

One has to wonder what Kimora did to bring the wrath of Kola Boof raining down from the sky.
Well, Kola was kind enough to speak to us and reveal the REAL reason why she continued to sleep with Djimon despite the fact that he was in a very public relationship with Kimora.
It all started years ago when Djimon was in a relationship with Kola, and Kola was experiencing some very scary health issues. It was at that time that Kimora started sleeping with Djimon behind Kola’s back. Yep, you got that right, according to Kola,
Kimora was the original relationship-wrecker. On the eve of Kola undergoing surgery for brain cancer, Kola says that Kimora came to her and told her point-blank that she had already begun sleeping with Djimon and that by the time the anesthesia wore off from the surgery Kimora would have her man.
They say revenge is a dish best served cold; well, Kola has been serving her revenge to Kimora on ice. Via email, Boof told the Daily News:
“I have slept with Djimon Hounsou throughout his marriage to Kimora Lee Simmons,” adding: “I don’t think it’s a secret to people in Los Angeles.”
So for the last 4 years Boof admits to sleeping with Hounsou–who has a 3-year-old son named Kenzo with Simmons–out of spite.
Furthermore, Boof says she had no feelings for Hounsou and doesn’t intend on sleeping with him again now that he and Simmons are no longer together, although she has nothing but kind things–relatively speaking–to say about Hounsou.
When Boof tweeted about her relationship with Housou in January and February, some folks made it known that they just couldn’t believe that a man like Hounsou would be with a woman like Boof behind Kimora’s back.
After all, Kimora is a light-skinned, long-haired fashion model with a rich ex-husband, what could Boof have on Kimora? A simmering disdain for dark-skinned black women and a disbelief that a woman with dark-skin could claim–and keep–the attention, lust, and desire of a man when that same man already had a light-skinned woman on his arm is just too much for some people to accept. In the words of Kola: “I’m making history.”
So yes, Kola slept with Djimon even though he was in a relationship with Kimora, but first Kimora slept with Djimon when he was in a relationship with Kola. And all along, Djimon has been all too happy to be a pawn in the games these two women played to hurt each other. “It was selfish and ultimately wrong, but I don’t feel bad about it. I wanted vengeance.” says Kola.

GlobalGrind spoke exclusively with Djimon and he addressed the false accusations that are being spread about him and his family.
He states:
It has come to my attention vicious lies and stories are being spread about myself and my family. I do not know, nor have I ever met this person. To that extent any and all claims are totally fabricated and for the press to be spreading these lies is irresponsible on their part. I am a man of integrity and would never betray my wife or my family.
Well not surprised, but Kola Boof responded to Djimon's statement via Twitter. She tweeted:

Side Note: SOMETHING AIN'T ADDING UP. Djimon says he never met "this person", yet he doesn't address the name, but he must be speaking of Kola Boof. Somebody lying.
Djimon felt confident enough to release that statement. But interestingly enough, if he is telling the truth, he def has grounds for a slander lawsuit. But he hasn't done that thus far.
