Yesterday was the first glimpse of Angelina Jolie as the eponymous Maleficent in Disney's retelling of the Sleeping Beauty villainess's tale, and today we got a whole lot more.
The first shots of the Oscar winner on the set of the would-be blockbuster made their way online today, and show Jolie in all her behorned sorceress glory.
As announced by Walt Disney Studios yesterday, production on the 3-D summer (er, of 2014) blockbuster began in England last week, and that is indeed where shutterbugs managed to catch the first look of the star filming this week.
The reimagined origin-of-sorts story will show moviegoers how the evil misunderstood sorceress goes from dark art practitioner to princess-targeting evildoer.
Elle Fanning stars as the cursed Aurora and joins Jolie, Imelda Staunton, Miranda Richardson and Sam Riley, among others, on the big-screen adaptation.
The 3-D flick is set for release on March 14, 2014.
