The sexy & gifted Michael Fassbender has shut the haters and naysayers up and revealed in his "GQ" magazine interview that he is indeed dating his "Shame" co-star Nicole Beharie, who is a very talented actress, expect great things in the future from them both.

Definitely check out their film "Shame".  Michael should have been nominated for an Oscar for his role.

Lawd to be a fly on the wall as his legion of "certain" fans are crying, hollering and already planning on ripping the magazine in shreds when it hits newsstands like banshees right about now. LMAO

Gotta luv Michael.... He also [IMO - Because I don't know if he actually said this to her or not, but so hope he did] had to put Charlize Theron azz in check when she made her little infamous statement about "being available to handle his d**k any time" just a few days after he and Nicole were spotted publicly in New York holding hands and looking very much together. Her comment showed she had no respect for their relationship and deliberately threw that comment out there to overshadow the news reports of he and Nicole.

She was thirsting for him all through Oscar season and beyond. But then got salty when she realized he didn't want her behind, he wasn't interested in her one iota, but she was conditioned to believe she is THE standard and he could not possibly turn her down.... but he did! BOOM!

However after that comment she made the next time they were seen together promoting their upcoming film "Prometheus", she had cooled quite a bit, and it was so obvious [IMO] that he read her azz and told her that her comment was disrespectul to his relationship with Beharie and it wasn't cool.

Anywho, I gots to get a copy of this issue when it hits newsstands! Epic.  Deets below:

When it comes to romance, Michael Fassbender doesn't necessarily mix work and play – even if his current girlfriend is his former costar. "Nothing happened while we were filming," he tells GQ magazine in its June issue, confirming his relationship with Shame actress Nicole Beharie, 27.

"We started talking more on the promotion thing. So, yeah, it just sort of unfolded like that." The two first garnered buzz after they were photographed in New York City. [Check the Chocolate Chick archives]

"I'm seeing Nicole, we're trying to see each other as often as possible," Fassbender, 35, who was linked to Zoƫ Kravitz last summer, says of their relationship. "That's kind of difficult when she lives [in New York] and I live in England." Next up for Fassbender, whose dramatic turn on the big screen as a sex addict in Shame was decidedly snubbed at last year's Academy Awards:

The actor will reportedly star alongside Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in The Counselor, in which he'll play the title role of a respected lawyer.

The actor, who once dated his X-Men: First Class costar Zoe Kravitz, is currently dating his Shame costar Nicole Beharie, 27. "I'm seeing Nicole," he reveals in the June issue of GQ.

"We're trying to see each other as often as possible." Fassbender, 35, admits that spending time together has been "kind of difficult" since Beharie is based in New York "and I live in England." Unlike his relationship with Kravitz, Fassbender didn't pursue Beharie while working together on the Golden Globe-nominated film.

"Nothing happened while we were filming. We started talking more on the promotion thing," Fassbender says. "So, yeah, it just sort of unfolded like that." Fassbender was famously snubbed in the Best Actor in a Motion Picture category at the 84th Annual Academy Awards -- a blow he didn't anticipate. "

At the beginning people [say], 'You're going to be going to the Oscars,' and you're like, 'Whatever, doesn't matter, don't think so.' But after a while it does penetrate. After a while you're like, 'Anyway, so I'm going to the Oscars. . .' And you start to believe it. And I did. I thought I was going. And then I found out I wasn't and I was upset. I was very upset by it. The first reaction was, 'What the f-ck?'"

The Prometheus actor adds: "It's a vanity thing. It does become important to you. And it shouldn't." Fassbender worries that his heavily publicized full-frontal nude scenes in Shame may have ruined his chances at Oscar gold. "That peeing cost me an Oscar . . . After a certain point you worry that it kind of detracts from the movie. But there's nothing I can do. I just have to laugh it off. I can. Pretty much," he tells GQ. "Because I take my work seriously but I can't take myself too seriously. I'm in such a crazy privileged position. Sh-t, this is the pinnacle of the dream when I was 17. Nobody wants to hear really how difficult it is."
