Trailer: Lifetime Movie Network FINALLY Airs A Suspense/Thriller Film With African-American Leads!

Lifetime Movie Network premiered the movie "Murder On The 13th Floor" saturday night at 8PM EST, it also repeated at Midnight.

[Big ups for DVR, it's on my must watch list today.]

As a loyal viewer of LMN movies, it was finally good to know a SUSPENSE/THRILLER film that had African-American characters in the lead would finally be airing.

Over the years I have sent several emails to Lifetime about their lack of using African Americans for lead pivotal roles in their films.

Several actors and actresses are used so frequently in the LMN movies [Barbara Niven, William Moses, etc] that it was like they must have a contract with the studio RHI. It was uncanny on how many films they were starring in.

At some point folks had to wonder.... Could you not have cast an African American in the role? What is the problem? The judge, detective, delivery person would be Black, but not a lead character?????

It's good to know they are making some changes, because numerous African American viewers have tweeted and emailed Lifetime as well with the same inquiries over the years.

The movie re-airs tonight at 7PM EST on  LMN.

Updated: Interesting.....   Lifetime has taken down the trailer and clips of this movie.  See that's that f*ckery! Missed the movie?  I rate it a 1 1/2  out of 5 stars, it re-airs 6.9.12 at 6PM.
