It was confirmed weeks ago that Simon Cowell made a house call to Mariah Carey to formally ask her to be a judge on his upcoming reality show "The X-Factor". Mariah, who is about to give birth to twins, was flattered but knew her schedule was going to be a bit hectic when the babies came. Now Simon Cowell says Mariah will be a be a part of the show in some capacity. Fabulous news!

During a recent radio show, Simon said Mariah would have a role on the show — even though she’s eight months pregnant with twins! “I think Mariah will have a role on the TV live shows,” Simon told host Jackie Brown (via Huffington Post). “I met her recently and she was in great form. And her idea was to be the judge of the judges, which only Mariah could come up with.” “She’ll be involved in some form,” he said. “I literally adore her. I love her to bits.” The show begins airing in September on Fox, so hopefully Mariah will have some time to spend at home with her twins once they are born!
