The uber talented Chris Brown is back where he belongs.. on top of his game. Last week his 4th studio album was released and he had already celebrated the success of several singles on the album.
Through a week of media driven "drama"... Chris Brown made a major return to the top of the music charts. His album "F.A.M.E" (Forgiving All My Enemies) entered the Billboard Top 200 Album chart in the #1 position.
Chris Brown appeared on BET's popular show "106th & Park", performing several tracks off his album. He also appeared on "Good Morning America". Robin Roberts interviewed Chris briefly before he took to the stage to perform. Instead of sticking to the reason for his appearance.. his album, Robin took the time to question him about the "Restraining Order" being lifted... that had been issued do to the incident between he and Rihanna over 2 yrs ago.
Chris clearly did no want to speak about the situation. Well Robin pushed.... and Chris was getting it appeared, agitated about the questioning.. especially giving the fact that he had ALREADY granted Robin Roberts a full interview a couple of years ago.
Anywho, after Chris' performance, it is alleged that someone trashed the dressing room and then threw something that hit a window and caused glass to fall on the ground below. The media went plum crazy!! And had pics of Chris walking out of ABC studios.. his shirt off.. with the heading Black Thug!! (THE NERVE!!!) What really is ridiculous is the fact that the "media" has glorified the likes of Charlie Sheen.. allowing him to run amuk with MULTIPLE DOMESTIC incidents in his life, drug issues, trashing multiple lavish hotel suites, etc... Yet he is looked at as a "media" gold mine. No one mentions "White Thug". Chris Brown was 19 and made a mistake, he should be given the chance to prove he has changed and would never hit anyone again. Robin Roberts went on media outlets explaining her side.. Blank Stare -
Chris Brown was also scheduled to perform the following week on "Dancing With THe Stars" which is on ABC. Some folks.. claimed they didn' want him on the show.. .Yeah right.. he bought them even more viewers... What the "media" felled to realize, is the fact that Chris Brown, who has over 2 million twitter follwers, had the support of major figures in the music industry.
Chris Brown did perform on DWST and blew it out the water... his performance was fiyah!! Cbreezy is back on top and we are happy for him. He needs to keep staying positive and learn a way to answer the questions about Rihanna and the incident in the future without getting angry and giving the "media" joy.
