Kanye West Apologizes To Former President Bush For "Racist" Comment! + Bush Responds!

Kanye West stopped by the Today Show and spoke with Matt Lauer. He apologized to President Bush for his ill timing comment he made during a live Katrina Relief Fund telecast, in which he said "President Bush doesn't care about black people".

President Bush was shown a clip of Kanye's apology and responded.

Side Note: Kanye West was definitely wrong for blurting out his comment live on air during a telecast that was there to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina. It was just uncouth. That's what he should apologize for. President Bush seems sincere to some degree, however as we remember the horrific images of the victims brown and black faces, suffering in the heat, no water, no food, elderly with no medication, children with no milk, Americans dying in the streets... It's a little hard to grasp that if it had been a majority of white faces in despair, the same fate would have been bestowed onto them.

Update: Kanye West took to twitter after the Today Show and basically stated he was pissed at Matt Lauer's handling of his appearance. He stated he wanted to make an sincere apology to President Bush, yet as he was speaking he could hear MTV audio and criticized the motive behind Matt's questions.... Anywho.. to read the actual rant.. just check Kanye's twitter @KanyeWest.
