Star Jones who is recovering from last week's cardiac surgery, is tweeting about her recovery and appreciates the outpouring of support from her fans.
"Thank you for all the good wishes and prayers … I feel them all," the former View co-host Tweets. By the way … who knew that ice chips could taste like steak!"
Jones, who turns 48 on Wednesday, had a heart procedure March 17 related to surgery she had 30 years ago to remove a thoracic tumor. Her rep said over the weekend that the operation had been a success and Jones was recovering well.
By Monday she was feeling strong enough to talk politics.
"Can you imagine me trying to recover without health care?" Jones Tweeted. "Those who voted against it need to hang their heads in shame."
Good to know Star Jones is doing better.
