Rachel Uchitel, the first alleged woman to have had an affair with Tiger Woods claims “she was lying” when she said she did not have an affair with the golf superstar, reports TMZ. The site also said that the fight at Tiger’s home the morning before the car accident was triggered by a series of text messages between Tiger and Rachel.
It was reported that Rachel has publicly denied her involvement with the golfer and issued a statement saying: “I did not have any involvement with him [Woods],” “Whatever was written in the Enquirer was not said by me, it was said by two people that claimed they were friends of mine, but they’re not.”
TMZ is also reporting that Uchitel did indeed have an affair with Tiger and she was the one who caused and argument between Tiger and his wife that preceded to the car accident.
After Tiger's wife Elin caught him texting in the wee hours of the morning, she jerked the phone from him and read the text messages. She became incensed and called Rachel! The argument escalated and the phone broke during the altercation, supposedly there was alot of damage done to the front part of the vestibule at Woods home that could not be immediately repaired, and that is why they did not want Police to come in.
I would suspect as well they could not let the police see Tiger or the home for fear they would start investigating a possible domestic violence charge for Tiger's wife Elin.
Gloria Allred, Uchitel’s lawyer, will hold a press conference today at 11:30 AM PT with Uchitel present.
