Paula Abdul Not Returning To Idol?!

Photobucket

American Idol is full of ish on so many levels! It was very obvious last season when "Idol" added a 4th judge Kara DioGuardi to it's panel, that it was very unlikely Paula would be back for another season. They were essentially "phasing" her out. In addition, they had to know that Paula knew Kara and deliberately sought out to hire her.

Even after Paula spoke out negatively about some of the "Powers that be at Idol" who knew about her "stalker" but failed to take it seriously and the girl ended up killing herself in front of Paula's home.

To add insult to injury....auditions for the new season are already underway...with no Paula Abdul on the panel...

Yet that skanky Kara DioGuardi is.

I for one haven't really been that into "American Idol" for a minute...the best season was the season Fantasia and Jennifer Hudson were on.

American Idol pulls in ridiculous amounts of money...and with Ryan Seacrest now getting $15 Million per year, and Simon Cowell a reportedly $100 Million per year...it's pathetic the amount they pay the contestants for the amount of work they have to do...as of last year it was $2000 per week..however the top 10 received $7000per week on tour...that's paltry compared to the money the Idol machine rakes in!

Anywho...American Idol is losing it's "IT" factor and with these little games they are playing with Paula Abdul....they are beginning to lose some of it's audience.

Quite frankly, how long has it been since an "Idol" winner has really made it big in the music field...and showed consistentcy???? There have only been a few...along with a couple of close winners. The last few years have been #IdolFail.

Paula can basically tell them all to go "suck" it..b/c she is raking in millions with her successful jewerly and accessory line.

Paula Abdul On The View - 12.08.08

So with that...Details below:

Paula Abdul has not been offered a new contract to return to 'American Idol.'
"Very sadly, it does not appear that she's going to be back on 'Idol,'" the singer's manger, David Sonenberg, tells the Los Angeles Times.

RadarOnline is reporting that salary played a large part in the growing feud, as Abdul reportedly hoped land a $20 million deal to return to 'Idol,' but the show only offered her $10 million. In recent weeks, reports have emerged showing host Ryan Seacrest will get $15 million a year, and one report had judge Simon Cowell earning more than $100 million a year.

According to Sonenberg, Fremantle and 19 Entertainment -- the companies behind the hit series, have yet to propose a new contract for Abdul.
"I find it under these circumstances particularly unusual; I think unnecessarily hurtful. I find it kind of unconscionable and certainly rude and disrespectful that they haven't stepped up and said what they want to do," Sonenberg adds.

Side Note: It would be in the best interest of American Idol to offer Paula Abdul a new contract...and if she's asking for $20 Million...they should pay it...Offering her $10 Million is an insult..especially after just inking a new deal giving Ryan Seacrest $15 Million a year! Come on now! Fair is fair!
